A small hydroelectric power plant has been constructed on the water transmission line of Cheshmeh Rozieh in Semnan in Semnan city.
The contractor for the design and construction of this project is Roshd Sanat Company, which has been implemented and fully operational within 6 months.
The water supply of Semnan daily is 11 million cubic meters per year and five Pelton water turbines and a reverse pump have been used in the implementation of this project.
The small hydropower plant on the Cheshmeh Rozieh water transmission line has directly created employment for 15 people.
The goals of this project are to help stabilize the national electricity grid, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 18,500 tons per year, and provide electricity for the consumption of about 7,000 people.
The construction of a small hydroelectric power plant on the Cheshmeh Roozieh water transmission line began in March 2017.
